Be Consistent. whichever method(s) you chose to use, stick with them! Keep your dog or either the left or the right. If your dog does something that need to be challenged, challenge it daily, not randomly.
Start Training In An Area They Know Well. This will prevent them from being too distracted. You can start in your back yard or even within the house (if the house is quiet).
A Front Clip Harness. Introducing these harnesses will force your dog to re-figure out what is happening when they try to pull. Take advantage of this window of opportunity to retrain them to with 'with' you!
Treats! It works in all aspects of life so don't deprive your dog of a tasty reward when they are learning. This reward clearly lets them know that they have do something good and they learn to continue to do their new rewarding walking without the old pulling habits!
